XVIII Latin American Robotics Competition
XVII Brazilian Robotics Competition
Welcome to XVIII Latin American Robotics Competition (LARC) and XVII Brazilian Robotics Competition (CBR).
LARC/CBR will be held at Rio Grande/RS, in Brazil, from October 22 to 26, 2019.
The LARC/CBR is the premier continental scientific competition in the field of autonomous robotics in Latin America. The event is composed of the IEEE Latin American and Brazilian Robots Competition and the Latin American and Brazil RoboCup Open.
Alongside with the finals of Brazilian Robotics Olympiad (OBR), the Brazilian National Robotics Fair (MNR), Scientific Symposiums: LARS/SBR, CTDR and WRE, resulting in the largest robotics event in Latin America: ROBÓTICA 2019 (www.robotica.org.br).
For visitors, the event is open, free and no registration and / or accreditation is required.
COMPETITORS: gathers in the same event researchers, undergraduate and graduate students from several Latin American and foreign Universities and Research Institutes. There are also competitions for students in primary and secondary education in the RoboCupJunior categories.
Teams will normally be composed by graduate or undergraduate students and researchers from various fields such as Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation and Control and Computer Engineering, Computer Science and Information Systems and so on. Competitors have the opportunity to develop complete solutions and validate them in a practical way in areas that involve: Control, Artificial Intelligence, Multi-agent Systems, Sensing, Human-Robot Interface, Object and People Recognition, etc.
CHALLENGES: presents several challenges for autonomous robots fostering the development and production of new knowledge in the area of Intelligent Autonomous Robotics in Latin America.
CATEGORIES: brings many challenges for autonomous robotics: robot soccer, rescue challenges, service domestic robots, logistics and simulation.
See the Categories that will be present in LARC/CBR 2019: Categories.
There is no limit to the number of teams enrolled per educational institution and / or teacher / tutor.
The competitor must complete the registration procedure as described in the menu: Registration.
